AWM: Studio portrait of 2302 Trooper (Tpr) William Ridd Bryce, 4th Australian Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps, of Milton, NSW. Tpr Bryce enlisted at Byron Bay on 5 November 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Star of Victoria on 31 March 1916. He died on 4 December 1917, after being wounded at Jaffa, Palestine, aged 22.
