Dunno & Kegs Surfing Classic

The Dunno & Kegs Memorial Surfing Classic is an annual bodyboarding and boardriding competition, to keep the brotherhood alive and Dunno & Kegs love of the beach and surfing on the first weekend of March each year.

2011: 5 and 6 March
Enteries close: 28 Feb 2011

The divisions are Surfing —Opens , Under17s , Girls. Bodyboarding—Opens , Under 17s , Girls , Dropknee. The heats are 4 man and 20 mins with professional judges.

Location is Rennies Beach (subject to change depending on the Surfing conditions). There are both junior and senior categories for all surfers.

There are visiting professional body boarders and surfers displaying their skills as part of the Bali memorial, along with body boarders and surfers from all along the South Coast.

Ulladulla Body board Club members, Craig Dunn (Dunno) and Danny Lewis (Kegs) were killed in Bail on October 12, 2002. They were armed with freedom of choice, spirit of adventure, love of outdoor life, a sense of kindness to others, the love of their family & home and respect for all things good.
