The Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club is responsible for supervising lifesaving operations at Mollymook. Other activities include beach patrols, emergency services, award training and examinations.
Mollymook is among the safest beaches in the world, through the efforts of educational instructors and the many volunteers who freely give their time to protect beachgoers.
