Climate maps
Economic or resource maps - natural resources or
economic activities, many times combined with road
maps
Parish Maps - Original landowners and development
of an area.
Physical maps - show areas as the mountains,
rivers and lakes.
Political maps - state and national boundaries,
capital cities etc
Road maps - highways, roads, streets etc
Topographic maps - elevation of an area above sea
level. Lines that are close together relflect a steep
terrain, whilst lines that are far apart indicate flat
terrain

are available online.
