Volunteers Equipment Grants

Member for Gilmore, Joanna Gash today (Wed 22 Nov 2006) announced grants to Ulladulla volunteer organisations to purchase much needed equipment. “There are certain things volunteer groups need but can never seem to find the cash to buy; that is where these grants step in.”

This is the eighth time the Australian Government has committed its financial support directly to volunteers under this program. “It is great to see real community-based organisations given a helping hand,” Mrs Gash said. “It may not seem like much, but every little bit helps and when it comes to volunteer organisations, the support is never more deserved.”
