Unite To Disabled Surfing

Twenty
years of disability surfing will be sighted Saturday
morning, November 26 at Mollymook beach when disabled
citizens throughout the region are invited to attend
learn to surf session and join members of the Disabled
Surfers Association.
Commencing at 9am with a complete briefing session by
officials, all those disabled persons wishing to enjoy
the thrills of surfing with boardshorts and towel have a
golden opportunity to learn from the professionals and be
part of three hours of excitement and fun.
Unique to the world and totally run on a voluntary basis,
the NSW Disabled Surfers Association has over 150 active
members state wide and started its activities in 1986 in
Sydney and can boast that thousands of disabled
participants have experienced a thrill of a lifetime.
NSW Sports Council for the Disabled member, Daryll Cook
praised the NSW Disabled Surfers Association, Mollymook
Surf Club and the Ulladulla Longboarders Club for their
combined involvement in giving disabled people an
opportunity to enjoy surfing.
Its a wonderful opportunity for every
disabled person to come and enjoy themselves. All
participants will be riding specially constructed soft
surfboards under complete supervision and most that
attend will have their lives changed forever
With the famous beach fully guarded by Mollymook Surf
Club and a sausage-sizzle provided by the Ulladulla
