Rev. Hon. Fred Nile MLC to visit ULLADULLA
As the longest serving current Member of Parliament in the NSW Government, Rev. Fred Nile has developed into a most respected Member of Parliament in NSW. He has set a new record of being the longest serving Member in the NSW Parliament. He was recently honoured by retired Labor Premier Bob Carr, who described Fred as a 'competent legislator'. But as a morals campaigner, outside the church, he has come in for some public criticism. Many a young reporter was told by their editor to do a 'hatchet job' on Fred Nile.

A Member of the Upper House, Fred is the Deputy President, and has chaired countless Parliamentary committees and committees of inquiry. He has chaired the finance and privileges committees, which are two of the most important and powerful parliamentary committees. The finance committee is crucial to the NSW state budget and the privileges committee has the power to permanently expel members of parliament from attending the parliament. Fred was the "Father of the NSW Upper House".

At the age of 71, Fred is still an active Member of Parliament. In recent months he has chaired the inquiries on the Cross City Tunnel and the Lane Cove Tunnel.

Hon. Rev. Fred Nile will be visiting Ulladulla on Thursday November 2 to meet local Constituents, and hold a meeting to inform members of the public about what is happening in the NSW Government. Fred will be available for a one on one interview over coffee at Amanda's Deli in Milton from 10am to 12pm, at the Baptist Church, Matron Porter Drive, Narrawallee for afternoon tea from 1pm to 3pm and over dinner at the South Street Chinese from 6.30pm. Most towns of the South Coast will be on Rev Nile's southern tour where Fred hopes to bring a personal face of Government to the people.
