The
Umpires Development Day held in May was very
successful and the Association’s Umpires
Convenors’, Ruth and Robin, would like to
thank our visiting National ‘B’
Umpires/Badging Panel, Vicki White & Rob
Grimson, for convening the ‘Brainstorming of
the Rules’ Clinic, also coaching our umpires
throughout the day with Norma Lowe, Ruth &
Robin. Many thanks to Sue Hensley (who sustained an
injury at Bega Carnival), and managed to coach one
of our young umpires, we all hope you are back
umpiring real soon Sue.
Those who attended the umpires clinic now have a
better understanding of rules and positioning, and
were also able to gain top level coaching whilst
umpiring. Congratulations to all our umpires, you
all looked so professional in your whites and
excellent umpiring, well done.
