Delivered meals
Fresh and frozen meals are delivered on a regular basis.
A wide range of different meals are offered. The services
cater for diabetics and those with special needs for
health, religious or cultural reasons.
Meal items
include main meal, dessert, soup and juice. Meals are
delivered to homes all the way from Wandandian and Sussex
Inlet to North Durras.
Home visiting
These are companionship visits to people who are lonely
and isolated. Visits are undertaken by volunteers on a
regular basis.
Activities that
happen during these visits include reading books, writing
letters, playing various card games and having a cuppa.
Visits are offered to individuals living between North
Durras and Bendalong/Manyana.
Accompanied Outings
For people who need assistance to do special things in
life which they can no longer do by themselves. Outings
include shopping for special purchases, picnics in the
park, going to the beach, visiting the cemetery, visiting
family members, going to the movies and other social
activities.
Outings can be organised for those living between North
Durras and Bendalong/Manyana.
Social Groups
Groups meet regularly in Lake Conjola, Burrill Lake and
Milton. People who attend enjoy a freshly prepared meal,
company of others, a range of activities and outings and
a lot of fun.
Transport can be organised to the groups for group
members living between Kioloa/Merry Beach to
Manyana/Bendalong.
Special Interest Groups
A range of groups operate for people with specific
interests. These include visual impairment, craft,
special activities for men, café and movie
appreciation.
Transport can be arranged so people can be a member of
group. Membership is available for those who live between
Manyana/Bendalong and North Durras.
