Milton Follies Inc. is a nonprofit volunteer group in the Milton Ulladulla area dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all ages in our local community, to perform and develop skills related to music and theater.

13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd June 2008
BATS (Produced with the permission of Maverick Musicals, 89 Bergann Rd, QLD, 4552). A fantastically funny musical about for all the family.

Opening Night, FRIDAY 13TH JUNE, come as your favourite character who would live in the “Castle of Doom” to win a prize.

With a cast of “50” enthusiastic local children and adults, Bats promises to be our biggest and best show so far.

Rehearsals are well under way at the CWA Hall in Milton. This is a real team effort with not one, but three directors, and a great group of Mums who are always helping at rehearsals.

About the Follies
Milton Follies Inc. was formed in 2002 and is a community group run entirely by volunteers.

Our previous shows
2003: Alice in Wonderland. 2004: The Wizard of Oz. 2005: Snuggle pot and Cuddle pie. 2006: The Jungle Queen. 2007: It Happened in Tangablanca, plus many Variety Shows in between.

Watch here for the audition dates for our regular family show at the end of the year.

All money raised is used for our current production or carried onto the next. Profits are also used to provide workshops at little or no cost to our members to improve their skills in all aspects of performance.

In 2006 we had two workshops. During the last holidays we ran pre-audition workshops to give inexperienced adults and children some insight into what to expect at auditions and ways to over come their nerves and give their best on the day.

Also, over the last few months we had the services of the very talented mime artist “Francois Boucquet” who ran mime workshops culminating in a memorable performance at our last Variety Show.

We always need people to help with many varied tasks as singing and acting alone do not make a show. For example, for our last production of Snuggle pot and Cuddle pie there were 45 members in the cast and 56 members who helped backstage and front of house therefore, if you want to be part of a show but think you can’t, well think again, we have a job for you.

Students who are part of our show be they cast or crew receive a certificate at the end of the show that can be used in their resume or portfolio and we are always happy to provide references for any of our members.

Plus Milton Follies are running sound and light workshops. At this stage we just need names of those who may be interested so please contact Andrea Douglass. Ph: 4454 0066 or
