Milton Follies
Milton Follies Inc. is a non-profit volunteer group in the Milton Ulladulla area dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all ages in our local community, to perform and develop skills related to music and theatre.
About the Follies
Milton Follies Inc. was formed in 2002 and is a community group run entirely by volunteers.
Our previous shows:
2003: Alice in Wonderland
2004: The Wizard of Oz
2005: Snuggle pot and Cuddle pie
2006: The Jungle Queen
2007: It Happened in Tangablanca and The Perfect Prince
2008: Bats and Sweet Fanny Adams
2009: Peter Pan
2010: Dazzle
All money raised is used for our current production or carried onto the next. Profits are also used to provide workshops at little or no cost to our members to improve their skills in all aspects of performance.
We always need people to help with many varied tasks, as singing and acting alone do not make a show. Help backstage with costumes, props and make-up and the front of house is always required so if you want to be part of a show but not performing we have a job for you.
Students who are part of our show be they cast or crew receive a certificate at the end of the show that can be used in their resume or portfolio and we are always happy to provide references for any of our members.
Presently the casts of 2 shows are busy rehearsing for performances in September and October in recognition of Milton’s 150yrs Celebration.
‘Parade’ is a musical written by Kate and Max Conyngham. This is a one performance only commencing at 3pm on Sunday 19th September. The show leads into a street parade through the streets of Milton to the CWA hall where refreshments will be served.
‘No Limits’ is a musical celebrating the lives of Milton’s identities. There are 6 performances commencing on Friday 8th October Sat 9th, Sun 10th and Fri 15th, Sat 16th, Sun 17th October.
