Milton revives its pioneer spirit every October long weekend – Thousands of people travel to Milton each October long weekend when it pays tribute to the district’s rural heritage.

A full day of entertainment including activities from clowns, magicians, story tellers and street theatre performers, there are also lots of craft and nick-nack stalls at the Village markets all in the centre of town.  Activities include history walks, pioneer and rural displays including sheep shearing and whip cracking.

There will also be specail activities as part of Milton’s 150th including a series of guided history walks around Milton.
