Peace Day Milton 1919

11 November 1919
Returned soldiers led by Lieut. [Rupert] Cork followed by cadets in charge of Lieut. A.R.Cork. Then followed by the Milton Town Band and the Peace Lorry and lastly the schoolchildren.On the right is Woodley’s Commercial Hotel. On the site of Mellick’s present store is Knapp’s Boarding House and behind it is a Norfolk Pine tree… In the right foreground is a sign for a ‘Booking Office, Harrison’s Motor Cars.
