Brilliant Wool Fashions The Living Craft Expo will feature a wide variety of skills with the artisans demonstrating their techniques. Providing a showcase for the work of our multi-talented craft people.

Highlighting the work of established professional artists and international acclaimed textile and fibre practitioners.

For the first time Jack Brilliant will bring part of his exclusive silk and wool design factory into the Civic Centre and demonstrate silk painting as well as seeing the finished product on the "catwalk".

Aboriginal Artist Tom Avery will be showing his diverse range of Aboriginal Art. Tom is a descendant of the Kamilaroi Aboriginal Tribe of Northern New South Wales, Australia. His Aboriginal name is Bagaay, which means "the River", and his tribal totem is the eagle.

The exhibition of his original artworks, includes the very popular paintings on silk. Tom's stunning Aboriginal Inland and Blue Water Dreaming silk scarves will be on display and can be seen hand painted.

Fashion parades in the morning and afternoon will showcase the fabulous Belisa Cashmere garments and superfine merino knits, plus Brilliant Wool and Brilliant Silk hand painted ruanas, coats, jackets and wraps.

Noted wildlife artits Lee Daynes will be presenting her meticulously detailed wildlife artwork and Lee is supported by a list of talented local artists.

We have twenty four exhibitors demonstrating a great range of crafts. For the men we have the very popular Milton Ulladulla Bowling Club Woodworkers with their beautiful wood turned items. The Lapidary Club are displaying their Jewellery and polished gem stones.

Prominent jewellery designer Natalie Cutcliffe will be a major exhibitor. Natalie, who lives in Fisherman's Paradise, is recognised among the elite of Australia's jewellery designers. She was one of a small number of designers accepted to exhibit at the recent Australian Fashion Week in Sydney.

Items that Natalie will display at the Living Craft Expo will include those in her 2007/2008 spring/summer collection. Every design is a distinctive art form which is completely wearable. Combining bead-weaving & embroidery techniques with a carefully selected palette of materials, there's a piece for every style & occasion, combining the most beautiful cabochons, crystals and gems in a stunning symphony of colour.

There will be a vast range of workshops conducted by a variety of crafts people for a nominal fee and will an opportunity to experience the craft of their interest.

The 2007 Living Craft expo prize is a
fabulous Cashmere or superfine Merino garment from Belisa Cashmere. Plus there is the Brilliant Wool Fashion's Ruana collection prize.

With other display and exhibitions of Model Railways, Sracpbooking,, Beading, Jewellery & Millinery, Margaret Rose Dolls, Slumped Glass,, Wool Rd Spinners & Weavers, Silk Painting - Maureen Speers, Quilling & Porcelain, Leadlight Lamps & Sun Catchers, Crafty Kids, Ceramic Art and the Lions Club Doll Collection

Opened 10 am to 4 pm daily - morning and afternoon teas and lunch available. Entry will be $6.00 per adult with children who are accompanied by an adult admitted free.

Refreshments will be provided throughout each day of the exhibition making this an enjoyable outing for the whole day. Ulladulla Civic Centre is friendly to wheelchairs.
