Jess Sams Game Fishing Tournament
Friday 30th January to Sunday 1st February 2009

The Ulladulla Sports & Game Fishing Club is proud of the heritage of Jess Sams and continues to honour the legacy each year. 2007 will be the 71st anniversary of the late Jess Sam's 1938 Australian record striped Marlin catch of 330lbs, this record still is current today.

The magnificent waterrs off Ulladulla bear some of the best specimens of Marlin, Tuna and Sharks found on the Coast.

Din Goswell, President of the Sport & Game Fishing club said “It will be good to see crews from other Game Fishing Clubs including Sydney, Victoria and the South Coast come to Ulladulla for the tournament.”

A representative from the the NSW Fisheries Recreational Fishing Trust is in attendance, to survey the fisherman in regards to the type of fish that were tagged and release for their angling research.
