The replica of the first ship Duyfken recorded to come to Australia in 1606, will be berth at Ulladulla harbour Saturday 4 - Thursday 9 November.

Tours of the Ship will be at Ulladulla Harbour:
Saturday & Sunday 4 & 5 November: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Monday to Wednesday 6 - 8 November: 1.00pm - 5.00pm

There will be tours for school groups in the mornings.
One will be able to catch a glimpse of this 16th century type vessel
with crew of twenty, the oldest sailing technology in Aussie history.
The 1606-2006 Duyfken Voyage marks the 400th anniversary of the first documented European contact with Australia. The story of this defining period in our history will be told as Duyfken visits 25 ports around Australia including Ulladulla, reminding us of the importance of our coastal and maritime heritage and giving those who visit the ship a deep appreciation of history in the raw and the courage and skills of 16th century seafaring explorers. The original Duyfken was built in 1595.
The the Duyfken voyage is a partnership between the Australian Government, the Duyfken 1606 Replica Foundation and Australia on the Map 1606 2006.
