Generosity shines in Ulladulla

mattpoker Generosity shines in UlladullaThe people of the Milton-Ulladulla region have opened their hearts – and their wallets – to the victims of the Victorian bushfires. Locally, the Red Cross has collected more than $40,000 in donations.

There was an APL poker tournament at the Ulladulla Ex-Servo’s on Sunday afternoon attracted 70 players and raised more than $4000, with one of the organisers Cathy Dunn saying it was one of the best – and friendliest – tournaments she had ever played in.

Another of the organisers, Natalie Crawford of Burrill Lake, said she was very proud of the local community and of the business houses who had donated $1500 worth of goods for raffles and prizes.
