Off Leash Exercise Areas for Dogs
Shoalhaven City Council has a number of Off Leash Exercise Areas for Dogs.
Dogs are only permitted to be “off-leash” in designated Council managed areas. They must be under
the control of a competent handler at all times.
- Council promotes the benefits of pets and encourages responsible pet ownership through the provision of harmonious and equitable access to parks and open space for dogs and their owners.
- Restricted breeds, dogs declared dangerous, nuisance or aggressive are not permitted in off-leash areas
- All faeces must be picked up and disposed of
- All off-leash areas will be regularly patrolled and all regulations enforced
Bendalong: Washerwomans Beach and foreshore reserve between Washerwomans Creek and Boat Harbour Rocks – available for use 24 hours.
Milton: Lower carpark area within Milton Showground Precinct (off Croobyar Road) available 24 hours when no major event is on at the Showgrounds.
Mollymook: Grassed area of road reserve to south east of buildings and playing fields off Mitchell Parade, Mollymook (north of Donlan Road) – available 4pm – 8am
Mollymook Beach: 24 hour on leash – from northern end of Donlan Rd
to Mollymook Creek and Colliers Beach.
Ulladulla: North Ulladulla Beach – vis Rotary Park – 24 hour on leash
Bawley Point: Cormorant Beach and foreshore reserve between Tingira Drive and Terragong Avenue, 24 hours off lease.
